One Sweet Golf Tournament!

The Negros Occidental Classic is on its last day. The Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club in Marapara, Bacolod City successfully hosts its first PGT Tournament. The short and narrow course proves its challenge as our players find themselves battling the tricky greens.

According to some of our professional players, the greens are one of the best in the country. It's a type of bermuda grass that's easy to maintain but is so tough. Breaks are hard to read and the speed is outrageous! Different areas of the green either make the ball go or move slow. And the pin placement doesn't make it any easier.

Our veteran professionals have known the NOGCC's greens since their amateur days, and the challenge has not changed at all.

Current scores for the Championship Flight for the whole leg are as follows:

Juvic Pagunsan: -9
Tony Lascuna: -5
Mhark Fernando: -3
